Service Description
The Agatha Oddly Reading Club is a small-group reading club where children explore the mystery story Agatha Oddly: The Secret Key together. Across six weeks, children read sections of the book and come together to discuss clues, characters and predictions about what might happen next. Led by me (Tania, a qualified teacher), sessions are relaxed, supportive and designed to help children build confidence sharing their ideas. During each session children will: • recap key events in the story • investigate clues and suspects • make predictions about the mystery • explore interesting vocabulary • discuss characters and motives • take part in short detective-style activities The small-group format helps children develop deeper comprehension skills while enjoying the excitement of solving a mystery together. The aim is to build confidence, curiosity and a love of reading in a friendly and engaging environment.

Cancellation Policy
The Reading Club runs as a 6-week programme. Payment of £30 secures your child’s place for the full programme. Spaces are limited to keep the group small and supportive. Missed Sessions If your child is unable to attend a session, unfortunately the session cannot be refunded or transferred. However, a short summary of the reading section covered can be provided so they can stay up to date with the story. Cancellations If you need to cancel your place more than 7 days before the programme begins, a full refund will be provided. Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date may not be refundable as places are limited and difficult to fill at short notice. Behaviour Expectations The book club is designed to be a positive and respectful environment where children feel comfortable sharing their ideas. Children are expected to participate respectfully and allow others to speak. Minimum Numbers If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the programme may be rescheduled or cancelled. In this case, a full refund will be offered.
